Kirby has worked as a fashion model for seven years now and has worked for brands like Marina Rinaldi, and Ashley Stewart; and has been published in Refinery29, Vogue Italia, and Elle Russia.  While taking acting classes, Kirby quickly discovered an inner life that she had not ever tapped into before.  After four solid years of experimental theatre training with Deena Levy, Kirby works from a very raw and authentic place that has allowed her to take on heavy roles without losing control.  Her most recent work includes playing the role of Doll, an obnoxiously adorable prostitute in a reenactment of Joe Pintauro’s Soft Dude; in P.J. Griffith’s Haunted by History, an immersive theatre project that included conjuring spirits and running around barefoot in the pews of a Puritan church; and the role of Lady Ann in a reenactment of Shakespeare’s Richard III.  Kirby has worked on small films as a lesbian lover, love interest of a Bachata music artist, Russian prostitute, prisoner, rape victim, and strong older sister.  Because she believes in working for herself and not waiting on others, Kirby is working on two independent projects: one an immersive one woman show and the other a sitcom about life after death.  Her modeling career goes up and down and she stopped worrying about that a long time ago.  While working as a yoga, meditation, and energy healing practitioner for a nonprofit and for private clients; Kirby believes in the power of connection, love, and speaking for those who can’t.  She awaits more commercial work, the strong female character roles, and maybe one day the lead in a romcom where her weight or size is never mentioned.
